Great Lakes Air GRN-650A Refrigerated Air Dryer is a robust semi-hermetic piston refrigeration compressor, circulating R-404A refrigerant through an oversized condenser to ensure consistent cooling performance—even in demanding ambient temperatures up to 110°F. A thermostatic expansion valve and hot-gas bypass circuit maintain precise refrigerant control, eliminating the risk of coil freezing and providing stable dew point control regardless of load conditions.

Durability and energy efficiency are built into every component. The unit’s stainless-steel plate-style heat exchanger design maximizes thermal transfer while keeping pressure drop to a minimum, helping your air system operate more efficiently with less energy loss. Maintenance is simplified with features like Rotolock isolation valves, easy-to-read analog gauges, and a diaphragm-actuated zero-loss condensate drain that resists clogging and eliminates unnecessary air loss.
