The GRN Series air dryer takes hot saturated compressed air and cools it in a two-stage heat exchange process. The first stage is a high efficiency Air-Air heat exchanger where the compressed air is cooled by air discharged from the stage two Air-Refrigeration exchanger. The second stage of cooling is accomplished in the Air-Refrigerant heat exchanger where the refrigeration system cools the process gas to a specified Dewpoint. The moisture condensed from the drop in temperature is separated and removed from the system.
